INTRODUCTION
You want your children – those who are budding entrepreneurs, and those who aren't – to do well in their career, or even in their own business (or both), don't you?! But you know they need some business knowledge for that to happen. Here's the course combination to get them started building that knowledge base.
We've combined our Jack's Kids course, with our Xero High Cool course, and we've thrown in Get Xero Set-up and Get Xero Speed for good measure. This combination gives them the basics in accounting and business, then adds Xero software training – just like they teach in high school. Then there are the Get Xero courses to reinforce this.
Here’s a brief description of each course (further details are under the courses themselves):
- Jack’s Kids – this course is based around business and accounting conversations between Jack (of beanstalk fame) and his two kids, who both want to set up a business while still at school. There are Discussion papers, followed by Examples (based on the business of one of the children), then Exercises (based on the business of the other child). Answers are, of course, provided.
- Xero High Cool – a comprehensive course teaching your student how to use Xero, including an In-depth Exercise to start, followed by a short Bonus Exercise, and Four more Exercises, and then a Test. Answers are, again, provided.
- Get Xero Set-up – this course is based around a series of short videos, totaling less than an hour, all about setting a business up in Xero. After each clip, your student can practice what they have learned in the Xero company provided.
- Get Xero Speed – another video-based course, with accompanying Xero company to practice in, this time teaching tips and tricks to get your student up to speed. The videos again total less than an hour.
PLEASE NOTE this is the Student Elements version of this course. As such it does not include the Answers.
